The Linksys RE7000 can be set up in two different ways.
Start by plugging the Linksys RE7000 extender into an electric outlet. Then properly attach the antennas to it. Now take the computer and connect it to the Linksys extender network. Open Chrome and type the default web portal in the URL bar. The Linksys RE7000 extender web management page will now pop up on your screen. From here enter the credentials presented on the web management page like your username and security password and click on the login button. Finally, follow all the instructions on the screen to complete the setup process for Linksys RE7000.
Note: If your current router does not support the WPS button, you will need to replace your old router with a new one.
First, place the power plug of the extender near the host router. Then press the WPS button first on the RE7000 extender, then on the existing router. During this time, the WPS LED will start blinking on solid on both devices, which means they are linked successfully. Finally, take the power plug of the Linksys extender out of the power socket and place it in that location where you have reported slow internet speed.
Thus, by employing these two ways, the Linksys RE7000 setup procedure is easily done.
