FINSBURY PARK IS OUR AREA
Finsbury Park, located in the North of London, is centred on the station and has a cosmopolitan feel. It is a thriving area and surrounding the park there are tree-lined streets and a mix of conversions and period homes. Properties are a mix between old and new, Victorian terraces, and new developments. It’s characterised as a peaceful retreat in an urban landscape and a community vibe.

The area is popular among young professionals due to its affordability and proximity to Islington. Moreover, it has the best transport connections outside Zone 1, with Underground, a mainline station and bus routes. As mainly a residential area, rent prices are increasing steadily, particularly around Stroud Green. However, cheaper properties can be found towards Crouch End, Green Lanes or Seven Sisters.

From an entertainment perspective, Stroud Green Road is the place to head for food. There is a healthy mix of chain and independent shops and restaurants in the area, including a wide variety of shopping options from high-street to boutiques and independent shops.

The actual park offers opportunities for sporting and social events, such as rock concerts, festivals, children’s play areas, art exhibitions, and unusually an American football field. During summertime, the area plays host to festivals such as Feis (an Irish music event, that boasted big-name line-ups in the past such as Bob Dylan) and Arsenal’s Emirates football stadium is located nearby.
