Monoclonal antibodies (mAb or moAb) are antibodies that are made by identical immune cells which are all clones belonging to a unique parent cell. They are produced by immortal hybridoma cells created from the fusion of antibody-producing splenic B-cells and myeloma cells, or by recombinant protein expression in mammalian cells. Monoclonal antibodies can have monovalent affinity, in that they bind to the same epitope (the part of an antigen that is recognized by the antibody). Purification is commonly accomplished through Protein A/G/L affinity chromatography.
Creative Biogene offers a broad selection of zebrafish monoclonal antibodies directed against the majority of key targets/proteins in the spectrum of fish scientific community research.
